Jarvis is now almost 8 months and has become quite the little climber and jumper. I've found him on shelves and tables and all manner of places I never in my wildest dreams expected him to be able to reach.
He is usually so loyal and well trained and will happily listen and do whatever you tell him (I think he enjoys obeying and learning) but once he is left alone for even a few moments he seems to be overcome with the urge to GET HIGHER AND HIGHER. lol.
He went ahead of us down a path in a park recently and this happened.

Has anyone dealt with this problem and how did you train it out of them? He is walked a lot, socialises with other dogs daily, attends doggy day care once a week and plays in the house and outside all the time so I'm sure it isn't a stimulation issue - I'd just really love to not have to worry about him falling from a 7ft bookcase.
