She could be a biewer and saying this gently.... but she's not a well bred one. She has a hard silk coat. It will never grow because hard silk is sparse, brittle, and it breaks. Her ears are never going to stand. It's the angle the pictures were taken that cause them to appear to stand. Her muzzle looks odd because it's long and downturned.

That wonderful reputable breeder she was purchased from...has 5 month old "parti" yorkies for sale on craiglist.

Why is she being sold without papers? I see the original breeder registered his dogs with CKC...where the only necessary documentation is a few pictures...looks like "biewer" is a biewer.

She may be the perfect pet.

Who exactly do you intend to breed her with? Just curious.

Breeding is very risky even when using Pedigreed Champion dogs, and you know what you're doing. To breed two unknown dogs together and you don't know what you're doing is, well, just crazy! Please read up in the breeder's forum before you make a decision to do this. Seriously, this is an extremely risky venture to attempt with small breed dogs.

I Wuv yorkies, Bchgirl is somewhat of an expert when it comes to Biewers, she's immersed herself in the Biewer world and is showing and breeding Biewers. I would really listen to her comments. It's one thing to want to offer an ill-bred dog a home; it's a whole other thing to want to bred an ill-bred dog, even ONE time. Please help educate you mom on this matter. I hate to be so blunt, but millions of unwanted dogs are put to death each year due to either not enough homes, or they require too much money because of medical conditions. Only those that have really studied the breed should breed, and then only after testing and knowing how to study pedigree and so many other things. Please do more research on this; here's a couple of links you should read. Well I contacted the breeder to find out some info on his breeding practice. There is not much on the site. Still have not heard from him

I Wuv Yorkies, I would follow the advice on Biewers from Deb. She is a reputable breeder that shows her Biewers. She belongs to a Biewer club and her dogs are registered. Please check out her site. You will see what we'll bred Biewers look like. I suggest before you jump into a breed do research. I did a bunch of research about Biewers before I started looking and I went to the BBCA to find a reputable breeder. Ask questions. Lots and lots of questions.

Please understand a cheap pup is not always cheap. You may pay more in medical or behavioral bills. When I took Galen to the vet for his wellness visit. He said that he was the nicest "yorkie" he ever met. He was healthly and ears were clean. Well socialized. I could not ask for a better puppy. I told him I got him from a reputable breeder not a byb. He said you picked well.
