Seriously, you need to save yourself a lot of headache and get Kudos fixed and whatever other dogs you get in the future. So much easier taking care of fixed pets. I can't believe I waited so long to get Uni fixed.

We are not trying to give you a hard time. We just want you to know that breeding 2 unproven and unknown (historically) dogs is selfish.

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | No one wants to make you cry, but you are old enough to learn the hard facts about breeding and what's happening to millions of dogs each year. I'm much older than you are, but I still cry when I think of this. We are a group of pet owners who love our dogs, YT can help make you a wonderful pet owner and it can educate you to all the problems dogs are facing, but we never encourage anyone to become a breeder, just like any profession, you have to get an education first. You can become a wonderful advocate on behalf of dogs and help educate others as to why spaying and neutering are so important. By the way, no way you can buy a decent breeding dog for $900.00.

| Don’t be stressed out- You are doing a great job. You are asking questions, a lot of people don’t do that. I give you tons of credit for that alone. I think you should rethink everything… maybe it isn't the best time for you and your family to get a second dog.. maybe you should just enjoy Kudos. Then down the road maybe it will be time for you to get that 2nd Yorkie you want. I personally wouldn't want to settle on something I wasn't sure on… you know.

But I would highly recommend NOT breeding. It sounds like your mom wants to breed and give free puppies to family and friends because they can't afford to purchase a Yorkie on their own. But when you do that, it can end up HUGE medical expenses. More than you're aware of. And raising puppies is also really expensive. Who's going to pay for that?

Also, did you know a female dog can die in labor? I know I wouldn't be willing to risk my female's life to get a puppy out of her

I wanted to breed Nena so much because I wanted the puppies! I wanted that experience. But after doing my research and reading about the complications a small breed can have while giving birth, I decided not to because I love Nena too much to put her through that. Puppies are cute and you fall in love with them and you want to experience that so bad! But think of all that has to happen while the dog is pregnant, when the dog is giving birth and when raising the pups. Not everything will be nice and easy.

| I agree with Michelle.. You can also look for Yorkie rescues as well. My friend just adopted a Yorkie Mix from the shelter- she is the sweetest thing, but before you bring a female home you really need to neuter Kudos..

| YT Young Pup | I wish I could adopt a yorkie but theres no yorkies in our shelter. And I only have 1 shelter. I only want a yorkie and there is none. That's why we thought about breeding. I would love to have a Biewer. I even have a few jobs. babysitting, helping my apartments and helping people move.

| I’m sorry to be so blunt, but if you can’t afford to buy a Yorkie from a reputable breeder- you most likely will not be able to afford the care. Also if you can’t afford that, how will you afford taking care of a pregnant dog and the puppies?? Do you see the points we are trying to make?
