It's one thing to want to offer an ill-bred dog a home; it's a whole other thing to want to bred an ill-bred dog, even ONE time. Please help educate you mom on this matter. I hate to be so blunt, but millions of unwanted dogs are put to death each year due to either not enough homes, or they require too much money because of medical conditions. Only those that have really studied the breed should breed, and then only after testing and knowing how to study pedigree and so many other things.
