| ![]() Oh thanks! I was just looking for it and looks like petsmart carries it, I will check it out tomorrow. The vet recommended microchipping when he gets neutered. Is it a good idea to wait? He's 9 weeks..

| ![]() I have changed my mantra about neutering and spaying. I advocate waiting later now, because of all the evidenced based research that shows it is better to wait...better for the health of the puppy...males around 8 months old and females 1 year old. You can get the microchip done anytime...it does not have to be done when the dog is under anesthesia....it doesnt hurt the puppy...I send all my babies out to new homes 12 - 14 weeks old, and I microchip all my own babies before they leave here. |

| ![]() I've been trying just the collar on him without the ID... He still hates it. I put it on for short period of times, and today I left it on for 6 hours and he pouted the whole 6 hours and he wouldnt move. Of course he went potty and ate but thats it. Oh and he came to me when I showed him a piece of chicken. Other than that he would not move. Does it take this long? How long did it tak your puppy to get used to it? I am so frustrated! ![]()

| ![]() He's 10 weeks old, 2.5 lbs ... He's been with me for 2 weeks now, should I just wait til he's older? This makes me feel really bad, I dont want to make him miserable as he's just adapting to his new home ... ![]()
