| Hueylocks and the three hairclips I have been trying to be a better mommy and brush Huey daily. I am also growing out his visor and trying to keep his hair in a topknot for the 1st time in 4 years. It has been a work in progress to find the perfect fastener, but I am really close. 1st fastener, scrunchi...dh says too tight (because the dog can't get it out...duh) 2nd fastener, tiny clips...too small...wouldn't get enough hair. 3rd fastener...perfect sized hair clips. Now just gotta get him used to not scratching them out. Unbelieveably, he is letting me catch him and brush him daily. Quite the breakthrough!

| Thanks! It was just as much a statement as anything that needed a reply. I have had a hard time finding a hair clip that stays in place AND that his daddy won't take out as soon as I'm not looking,,,

| When I train mine to anything new, I do them up then take them out for a walk immediately. They get so distracted by things they see on the walk they forget what they're wearing or that their hair is up, and by the time we get home, they're not bothered by it anymore... except maybe once in a while, lol. He looks handsome with a topknot! (and without!)

| Wonderful! Whatever works, huh? At least you have found something and are getting both him and you used to it. He's adorable, and the clip looks good. I do use the scunchies...I don't put them in tight, and my kids can def get them out.

| Have you tried using a small elastic band wound round a few times, and when you have finished brushing and combing him a tiny little treat, and he will look forward to that. |

| I've been in love with Huey's locks for many months now. I'm partial to scruncii's (tell hubby that they don't have to be too tight to stay in..just put them in good and then put the comb up under it and losen a bit...that's what I do). With that said - whatever works is great! His locks are gorgeous

| What type of clip did you use? The only thing I have found that really works on Adie is the tiny human rubber type bands for children. Everything else slips right out. Especially after a bath when her hair is extra silky. |
