| I love all these cuts for summer. I just have one question, does anyone do this cut who has a yorkie who has his ears down? I have been growing Wallee's coat a little (except we dont do the top knot) as his coat is so freakin curly and I am so very frustrated with EVERYONE asking me if he is a s**tzu. Looking for advice on his hair that will be comfortable for him for summer and yet have him look somewhat like a yorkie? |

| When I got Trixie she had a long skirt that I believe she had grown since birth but due to her circumstances, she had been neglected , even the SPCA vet couldn't brush her too much and one reason I was allowed to adopt her was Trixie allowed me to pick her up and brush her gently on our very first meeting. I have since had her groomed with a puppy cut which I have trimmed every 10 weeks. I was unsure of what to do too but after doing a Google Search for Yorkies' and checking out the many imagines I settled on the Puppy Cut.

| I love the Joey cut as well. I'm just waiting to determine if we can handle Princess Sophie with longer hair. LOL If not...then it's Joey for us!!

| Sophie Kate has a Joey cut also in the summer, in fact today is her appointment for her first "Joey" of the season. Awhile back Nancy posted instructions for getting a Joey cut, I printed them off and gave them to my groomer. Maybe she will post them again, it really is a good summer cut (we keep almost 9 months out of the year and go a little longer around the holidays). It is funny, you can always tell the Yorkies in my community that go to my groomer, they always have a Joey - in fact that is what they refer to the cut as at my groomers.

| I do the Joey cut too! I keep Couver's leg hair and head hair long and shave his body nekkid For Khloe this time, I shaved the top of her legs and gave her the 'clydesdale' look... lol. It's so cute. I'll have to post some pictures.
