| I grew up in a very rural place, and I used to constantly have to return this shaggy, slightly overweight pony to his stable which was about 1.5 miles away from my families house, because I would find him wandering around, having broken through his fencing. One day when I was 22 years old, and just returning home to New Hampshire from Boston, I spotted the pony walking down the middle of a two lane road. I pulled over my car, took a spare dog leash out of the backseat, and walked him half a mile home with a leash wrapped around his neck. It was difficult as I was wearing three inch heels at the time! WHen I got there the owner said: Oh, he's always breaking free because he's a stallion and he sees a mare being ridden by.... I'm pretty sure that a yorkie that isn't fixed would do the same. Unless someone is a breeder, it's a lot of responsibility to take. |

| My main worry is non neutered males tend to have a greater chance of getting cancer later in life
