| The story of a boy and his bone.. LOL… I know I’m being biased, but why is Peanut so flipping cute!!?? Not sure if you can tell, but that bone is his baby!! It is his favorite toy he has. He has loved it since he was 2 months old!! It was actually on a toy that belonged to my brothers Dog Grace.. she is a min pincher and she LOVES to tear open the toy and get the squeaker out. So she left it abandoned.. I needed a small toy for Peanut, I saw that toy and tore the bone off of it… ever since he has been inseparable with this bone. He takes it and buries it, then he will go get it and bury it in a different spot, he will lick it, and gently chew on it.. He knows the word BONE, All I have to say is “Peanut go get your bone” he will “usually “ know where it is.. if not he gives me that panicked look and DH and I will have tear the house upside down looking for it, Peanut will follow our steps until one of us finds it. I need to throw it in the wash- it smells horrible LOL, however I have to take it in a very sneaky way- if he sees me take it he will bother me until he gets it back!! I just love my little guy and his bone. What is your babies favorite toy they cannot live without?

| Canyons is his "nake nake". He's had it since he was a baby when I picked him up from the breeder. It WAS a long green stuffed plush snake in a very bright green color. Over the past 4 plus years, the snake has lost it's body, and then it's neck and now it's just the head, a round green head with sewn eyes and a sewn smiley mouth. Canyon will carry that with him all the time, it goes to his food bowl with him, it lays with him, he licks it, holds it in his mouth and walks around with it, etc... If he leaves it somewhere I say, where is nake nake, he looks around and gets it if he remembers, if not, the search is on and no one sleeps or goes to work until nake nake is within his vacinity. He loves this green snake head. I have put it in a pillow case and tied the case up and washed it on delicate before and it survived, I need to do that again. So you have a bone and I have a snake head. Hahahaha - too cute. |

OMG- Canyons attachment to nake nake sounds 100% like Peanut attachment with his bone! That is so funny, I thought it was just Peanut that acted like that! LOL Isn't it funny how they come to you with that “look” and you know they are looking for the nake or the bone and can’t find it! DH and I are always going back and forth.. “ it’s your turn, nope it’s your turn I did it last time”!! LOL When you are looking for nake nake does Canyon follow your every step until you find it..?? You can just hear the panic in their steps LOL

| Just wait till your pup has loved that bone to death and you have to find a replacement because nothing else will do. LOL We had a mini Schnauzer (Gretel), whose absolute favorite toy was a stuffed lamb we all called Lamiepie. This was one of her very first toys and after about eight years, Lamiepie no longer had a working squeakier, it also had very little plush on it. We actually went to the store, not expecting to even see this same toy for sale, but did find it. We brought it home, washed it with other things so it smelled like us and when playing with her in the evening, switched (behind my back) one Lamiepie for the newer one. When she saw it, she stopped cold and backed up, sat down and looked at me with eyes that said, "What do you think you're doing, give me back MY Lamiepie". I laughed for an hour. No way we could fool her, she had her Lamiepie, didn't care at all what it looked like and that was that. They do have their favorites! LOL

But yes, you can hear the "urgency" in their footsteps, this is important stuff. I'm not sure what will ever happen if we lose nake nake as i've not been able to find anything like it. Even when we move, nake is in a baggie inside my purse for safety - OMG, now that's insane. | |

| What a cute story. Chachi has a toy that he has that kind of attachment to its his humpty bear. The breeder I got him from gave it to us and its always been his choice toy to hump. He carrys it around and even carrys it outside or up to bed. Hes had it for 8 yrs and it just looks terible and he leaves it in the middle of the livingroom which drives me nuts so Ill put it up but when he cant find it he will cry untill we get it for him

| I love the LamiePie and Humpty Bear story. You can't get anything past them, as I'm sure if I ever found anything that even closely resembled Nake Nake and tried to do the switcharoo, it wouldnt fly either. Nake nake looks horrible too and he always seems to be on display in my living room floor, the hallway, up on my bed, etc...NO ESCAPING THE NAKE NAKE. |

OMG We will be in serious trouble!! His bone actually is finally getting a hole in it too!! Right on the corner. I need to send it to Cathy ( 107barney) and have her make him a new one.. or something LOL Thankfully he doesn’t chew it to tear it, he just nibbles on it.. But the bone is 6 years old LOL so its only a matter of time before it goes to bone heaven! I think if we tried the switcharoo ( however you spell it LOL) he would deny it like Gretel!!

We also have been moving things around and we have construction going on so our house is pretty much upside down.. I came home and found his bone in my dresser drawer LOL I asked DH why he put it in there and he said he didn't want it to get lost while the moving furniture was taking place!! Yes we are pretty nutty, but our babies favorite toys are always safe and sound!

| Cute stories Joel has lots of favorites but in the end it's always his stuffed angry bird he's had since he was a baby, actually this morning Rosco decided to rip angry birds hair off and thankfully didn't make a hole but Joel will carry it around by the tail or hair and chew on it forever lol |

| Guinness has Mr Bill... All you have to say is Oh No Mr Guinney where is Mr Bill and he goes nuts hunting which these days it is always well hidden because Stella loves any toy that Guinness wants at that moment but Mr Bill is the only one he keeps off limits!!! I am shocked that this toy is a year and half old and still in one piece because he tears everything apart. And let me just say that it is rather creepy when Ryan is out of town and at 3am I hear a male voice saying OH NO!! Because Guinness is laying in bed playing with it lol

| when i got jj from spca 4 years ago he came with a green frog, he just loves that toy, i have had to repair him because jj has nibbled on his arms and legs so much they almost come off. while i am hand sewing another peice of green fleece to keep him together jj sits right infront of me watching and when he sees me finish it off he grabs it and goes hide it. jewell tries to get it from him and he will take it in my bedroom and put it up on the bed, the one place jewell still cant quite get up on. he has gone in stores and found other frogs but he still likes that one most. |
