After reevaluating the situation I determined my little Doc just needed an intervention. I stepped in and set boundaries. I spent more one on one time with him grooming, hand feeding, playing, training, and basically became his pack leader. With love, gentle correction and quality time, my little Yorkshire "Terror" did a flip-flop and a week later he was a different puppy. He not only captured my heart, he learned to sit, play ball and how to smother us in kisses. He is 4 months old now and quite content to snuggle with me on the couch, curl up in my lap at the computer, go for a walk or play on his own with his toys. His sisters, both 6 months, have accepted him now, and I often find them all curled up together in one bed with the girls wrapped on either side of him. ![]() I've read that a Yorkshire Terrier will adjust to their families. Whether active, or more laid back, they tend to take on the mood and attitudes of the family they very much become a part of. Hang on, it will get better!

| Well..you are in the right place to find the help you will need as your puppy matures. I'm on this site all the time looking for answers and information that will help me with my little wild child. Looks like we both have a long road ahead of us but it's all worth it! I have had dogs all of my life and am experiencing my first Yorkie journey. I get frustrated sometimes and didn't realize that they were so different in soo many ways. I'm learning as we go. When I look at her she just melts my heart and I know she always will in spite of her little no no's.
