| ![]() He does have a poodle look about his eyes and face and ears. Could very well be Yorkipoo. The only Yorkipoo I ever saw in person was a grown one and it's hair stuck out long and fluffy, even on its head. But poodles have a look in the face of this little guy.

| ![]() He is sooooo cute, I love his fur. When I first saw his picture thought he had poodle in him as well and his nose is long. Congratulations on your little baby and welcome to YT! |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | ![]() Wisdom Panel DNA test. While not perfectly accurate if it comes back with a significant percentage that is NOT Yorkshire Terrier - you have yourself a sweet mix. Also always request the papers - You can register your dog with the AKC on limited registration. There are some perks of membership - such as pet insurance rates. Another item you should be thinking of - and pay for the one that covers genetic defects. Looks like a sweet puppy. If you settle him on the floor in his crate by your bed he should settle down soon. Also remember to keep him warm at night. We have our crate on a rug, plus a warm bed inside his crate. We also cover the top of his crate with a blanket. Summertime we don't.

| ![]() Hey Danny1909, what a cute boy you have there! I agree that his longish snout doesn't look too "Yorkie" but hey, he's a doll! I love that you also have another Shih Tzu pup, Toby. We also have our Yorkie (Trouble) and Shih Tzu (Twinkie) as brothers. Our Yorkie is a "teapot" variety, as he's much bigger than other Yorkies. He is a purebred, but he's big. His parents were much smaller, his mom weighed 10 lbs and his dad 12lbs, but he's 18! He's not fat, just big all over, long and kind of tall. They're all precious, we just love 'em don't we? YEP!

| ![]() Is he AKC registered? He definitely looks mostly Yorkie, if not 100%. The color and hair appearance is right, but the nose seems a little long. There is some variation in Yorkies' appearance, so he could still be a purebred. I'm not sure whether there is a routine DNA test to determine if a Yorkie is purebred, but if there is, let us know! |

| ![]() He's adorable...I agree maybe more like Yorkie-Poo...but gosh what a cute face he's got! I had a Yorkie-Poo many years ago and he was the sweetest, smartest and most personable little dog. He went everywhere with me. My Yorkie-Poo had a straight, silky coat and Yorki-tude, but his training went very well and he loved it when I did exactly what he trained me to do...otherwise he would snub me...literally...nose in the air, etc. lol This little guy just looks so happy and comfy snuggling in your lap...congratulations! ![]()

| ![]() Looks Yorkiepoo to me and what a handsome little guy he is. And or but ...if you find out the he is not pure Yorkie and the breeder told you he was...please let YT know who this person is so that others can be warned. Regardless of what he is you got a real keeper!!!

| ![]() Here is the link for the Wisdom Panel dog DNA test: http://www.wisdompanel.com/wisdom-panel-2-0/ The price is $80. Test results take up to 3 weeks, and you get them on-line. You might want to do this for peace of mind... |
