| They're both adorable! Go w/the one you had a connection with...Congrats! Will you be meeting the parents when you go pick him up? I hope so, a good breeder will let you meet the parents w/out hesitation.

| They are BOTH so CUTE...But I think #2 is the cutest, but personality wise (from what you have been told) I would choose #1...lol..Why not just get them both? lol...

| How are you going to get the pup then? Are they flying him in or are they dropping him off? I always get an uneasy feeling when they try to give too much of a "story" of why you can't come to their home and pick up the puppy. And if they really cared about the puppy don't you think they'd want to meet you and see your home as well? Either way, I would suggest you cover your bases and familiarize yourself with the puppy lemon laws. We have that law in CA, and if the breeder is from out of state, check if that state has the law also. It protects your puppy for up to a year, no matter what the contract you get states. Some breeders only give a 24 or 48 hour health guarantee. ![]()

| Thanks all for the posting...and concerns... They both are from a very good breeder...and it's not from out of state...but pretty far from where I live...California is a huge state...We havent decided if we are gonna go up there , they come down, or we meet up in the middle...depends on their situation and our situation...but we agreed that we not gonna use those delivery services...we still have about a month or so to pick him up, so we will talk more about it later....they are not gonna just let me have him until the puppy is really ready..even thou the puppy is already 7wks...actually 8wks now...I've talked to them since they were only 2 wks old and I've also heard about them from someone else... They are not back yard breeders or something if that's what you concern... They care of their dogs so much like family members... and their dogs are well taken care of...they've been breeding yorkies for about 15 yrs..all their dogs are quality breed dogs and meet the standards(akc etc..)..and they do have 1 yr health guarantee on the puppy. I understand all your concerns...i know it's because you love yorkies so much...I've been researching to have yorkies about 5years..on and off....for 2 years vigorously...from shelters to rescue groups, pet shops and breeders... I know how hard it is to find a yorkie that you like and healthy....to me, even harder than having a baby...to me it really is..^^(my daughter is a honeymoon baby)...even my husband told me the other day, I'm more prepared for the yorkie than I was for the baby...because all I did was sleeping when I was pregnant..I didnt know anything about a baby until she comes...^^ I really appreciate all your concerns about the breeder..I totally understand..somewhat it's my fault too because I shouldve more clarified about the breeder so you would not concern...I was just too excited about the puppies...that's all...they both are so adorable!!! cant wait to meet him soon! I will post more pics later~~ thanks again~~!! ( oh..just for the ppl who didnt ready my previous posting...we decided to go with the first one) Last edited by aurora1226; 04-16-2013 at 10:40 PM. |
