| potty troubles on rainy days :( So yesterday was a crappy day outside and I have a grass patch on the balcony for the puppies to go potty. For some reason, when it gets wet out there (the whole balcony doesn't get wet just half) Taka refuses to use the bathroom out there and finds a place in the house (kitchen, bedroom door) to hide and go potty. He is completely potty trained and never has an accident inside. And when we get up to see what he is doing he runs and thats when we know to go on a search because he knows he did something bad. Does any one else have this problem? If so, what have you tried to stop it? |

| Being in Japan, I don't guess you would have an enclosed garage? Huey hates getting his feet wet, so we let him go in the basement in the garage portion when it is rainy. Concrete hoses off well. Would pee pads work? Maybe even put them out on the wet portion of the patio to keep his feet dry so he is still going outside?

| Rainy and snowy days are the reason decided to train Brandi on potty pads. She hates getting her little feet wet. Thankfully she goes indoors and outdoors. |

| I know what you mean. Our dogs refuse to go out when it rains. It's really hard. We have puppy pads in the house but we have two basset hounds and puppy pads don't cut it. The smaller ones use the puppy pads sometimes. It's really hard. I'd rather have a snow storm. They wont stay in the house when it snows. |
