Blood Sugar Question

Every 4-5 hours should be soon enough. Is she having any problems with low blood sugar?

@Deb1 - According to symptoms mentioned, no.
@Lovetodream88 - Going forward, I'll provide Julie three meals a day, plus free feed her throughout the day.

Another sign of hypoglycemia or that something in general is not right is the color of a puppy's gums. They should be pink and moist. If the gums look greyish or dry, it could be a sign of low blood sugar and/or dehydration.

If your pup is eating fine & has a good appetite, nutrical does not need to be given. My vet advised that it can cause diabetes if given too much over a long period of time.

Thanks for the answers. I'm always watching my diet and blood sugar (diabetes in the family), so was very surprised when I saw this person advising to give nutrical daily. I'm glad that was sorted out!
