What gets your pups riled up and crazy

WATER BOTTLES!! Everytime im drinking water and sometimes the water bottles makes that crushing sound as its being emptied....Taka goes nuts every time!! he wll not let me finish the little bit of water thats left and wants it so bad. and if theres a bottle sitting in the cup holders on the couch he will sneak it away to his bed and start munching on it.....VERY ERY LOUDLY!!

We leave it on the crushed ice setting so the one time I saw a peice or two fall she got excited and started batting at it with both front paws looking like a kitty playing with a ball or yarn, with the peices being so small it doesnt take long for them to melt so when they did she looked up and did a single bark as if to say "come on let me try again"

lily loves her some ice cubes!!!! if i go near teh freezer she flips out jumping up and down until i giver her one, there are always puddles of water everywhere from her not finishing the ice before it melts...though she does try very hard but its just too cold

Garbage truck, mail truck, dogs walking by the house, plastic bubble wraps when I get mail and it has plastic bubble wrap sonic goes crazy don't worry he don't eat it lol.. Anything that makes noises really.

His carrier! Once it's out, he knows he's going and I better be ready quick. It's now the LAST thing I take out.

I guess that Gracie is somewhat odd in that she only barks and gets crazy when she plays. However, her idea of playing is a fight. She grew up with a litter of kittens that I had taken in. We kept one of them and she and that cat still love to wrestle and play. Gracie will get all wound up and dance around Missy while Missy lays there and waits for Gracie to get close enough to wrap her arms around her and get her in a wrestling hold. It is hysterical to watch but it does get noisy. Gracie may also get a bit defensive and crazy if she thinks one of the cats is getting too close to one of her precious balls. That gets her really mad (if she is not napping) and a cat may very well get bonked with the ball when Gracie tells them they have gotten out of bounds.

When someone comes to the door Gracie will do a little whiney noise because she is so excited to have someone visit her. Yes, everyone who comes to the door is there to visit Gracie....at least in her mind.

We did recently discover one other thing that sets Gracie off. We had a black bear visiting the bird feeder outside my bedroom window at night for a few weeks this spring. Every time that bear would be out there Gracie some how knew and would growl and bark like crazy if it was 9:30 at night or 3am. She may not be a good guard dog against humans but if a bear ever comes to the door I think I'm safe.

oh my you guys with the bears how scary. Gail did not realize you would have them in your area.

KJC Lola does the same thing, I bring her home a LOT of toys mostly from the dollar store or walmart I throw the bag on the floor and let her have at them for about 5 mins, then after the shredding gets done I let her have one or two. So now I cannot put any plastic grocery bag on the floor for fear it will be ripped to shreds.

this is not so much of a riled up thing as a funny cute thing, one of my past males, Duffy loved to play with the small terry scrunchies. I used to go to the gym a lot and would always have several of them in my gym bag for my own pony tail. Somehow he got wind of this stash so everytime the bag was on the floor he would go crazy looking through it until he struck gold, he would only pull the pony holder out, nothing else. Then he would fling it up in the air waiting for it to come down, he would do it over and over, like his own form of fetch. I got to the point I would purposely leave the bag on the floor so he could have his fun. Then one time my husband left his gym bag on the floor and Duffy was going crazy looking so hard for the scrunchie which my husband had no need to carry, poor Duffy was almost crying that there was no pony holders, so like the good yorkie parents we are we started stocking scrunchies in my hubby's bag just for Duffy

The scrunchie thing is funny! Gracie doesn't play with them but she loves to chew them through if the cats will knock one down to her!
This is the first time in the several years we have been here that a bear has taken up temporary residence although a place about 11 miles south of us has been known to have them wander through. The forest ranger said they have been coming into more populated areas frequently lately. Great! Gracie has proven to be a great black bear alarm. I had been thinking it was kids messing around at night that were flattening the bird feeder pole to the ground. I finally got my flashlight out and found out differently.

oh yeah, he is a big softy when it comes to the dogs, he said he just did not want the guys at the gym to see his pony tail holders, not that it would matter the man is half bald
