Somehow he got wind of this stash so everytime the bag was on the floor he would go crazy looking through it until he struck gold, he would only pull the pony holder out, nothing else. Then he would fling it up in the air waiting for it to come down, he would do it over and over, like his own form of fetch. I got to the point I would purposely leave the bag on the floor so he could have his fun. Then one time my husband left his gym bag on the floor and Duffy was going crazy looking so hard for the scrunchie which my husband had no need to carry, poor Duffy was almost crying that there was no pony holders, so like the good yorkie parents we are we started stocking scrunchies in my hubby's bag just for Duffy
The scrunchie thing is funny! Gracie doesn't play with them but she loves to chew them through if the cats will knock one down to her!
This is the first time in the several years we have been here that a bear has taken up temporary residence although a place about 11 miles south of us has been known to have them wander through. The forest ranger said they have been coming into more populated areas frequently lately. Great! Gracie has proven to be a great black bear alarm. I had been thinking it was kids messing around at night that were flattening the bird feeder pole to the ground. I finally got my flashlight out and found out differently.
