| ![]() My bed is high too. I bought steps for Brandi to get up and down but she is stubborn and every now and then she will jump off the bed. For me it was so hard to keep her out of the bed. She spent one night with me and that was it. If you don't want your baby in bed with you then don't start ever because all it took was one time for my little bugger to weazel her way into my bed ![]() If you do decide to let her sleep in your bed, be sure to trained her to use the steps at all times. It's always a good idea to use steps anyway even with sofa's. In my house every sofa except the one in the living room (too high for her to jump up) has a set of steps that she uses (most of the time ![]() |

| ![]() I got the microchip done at the neuter but if it makes you feel safer to have it done earlier than that there is no problem getting it done early. They dont need to be under aneshesia to have it done and it costs like $35

| ![]() For some reason I tend to always pick the "runts"... I picked Joey out at 3 weeks and he was the runt. hes still small at 5 lbs, but hes not sickly or fragile. Hes a sturdy little guy.

| ![]() Thanks! I am having problems with thinking of a middle name to go with it though. Any ideas? I was at the vet recently with the oldest Maltese, excitedly telling the secretary that they will soon have another patient. A woman sitting near by asked what I was going to name her. I replied with Lyra, but didn't go into the reasoning. The woman laughed and said "Gosh, people come up with the dumbest names for dogs now." Kind of offended at that point... So I asked her what her 5+ year dog's name was. "Puppy." Well jeez, at least I am trying to be original! ![]() |

What is going on with the world these days?!? Seriously. I read more and more about rude comments made to people by others that don't even know them. Is it because people are so used to being behind the cloak of anonymity on a computer that they just spew the same vile words out in person? Nuts! Lyra is a beautiful name. That woman is bonkers. And, a little dumb ![]()
