Does she cross-breed ALL of those pups with Maltese, Yorkie, Llasa, & Chihuahua?! :confused:

What's wrong with a purebred pup? Do they call them Designer Dogs in the USA as they do in the UK? That term all started after a ridiculous tv programme filmed ill pedigree dogs that had been bred by backyard breeders and for the last few years folks have jumped on the bandwagon and been churning out all manner of mixed pups with stupid names, the majority having Chihuahua or poodle in them! :mad: They charge nearly twice as much as a healthy pedigree puppy would be and usually have litter after litter :( You cannot tell me they are NOT in it for money! :mad:

I love all dogs ~ pedigree and mongrel ~ but I'd much rather save my pennies and find a good breeder and buy a pedigree puppy than a mixed one! Buying these mixes just encourages folk to destroy hundreds of years of careful breeding :mad: There are over 300+ pedigree breeds so WHY would anyone want to 'create' more other than just doing it for money! :mad:

Or large or even teapot. . . . The best term IMO would be . . . loved ! I personally think it should not be by size. It is a lol about the health and socialization the puppy had. A happy and loving and healthy pup

She is selling a mixed breed dog for a lot of money. I do not understand how these "designer dogs" can fetch so much money when you can go to a place that carries tons of them for very little. . . . It is called a shelter. I really does break my heart to see ton of "designer dogs" being put to sleep while people are paying more for their "designer dog " then they will pay for a AKC pure bred show breeder dog.

I have researched and studied several tiny toy dog breeds and combined AKC purebreds with:
non-shedding, silky soft coats in many colors,
large bright eyes with long lashes,
doggy intelligence with a love of human attention and companionship,
"big" round heads with black ball noses and black lips,
and with selective breeding, I have eliminated bad bites, hip and skin problems, and even heart problems.

Wow is she a geneticist ? She must be amazing educated to do this. I guess she does lots of testing. Just because you mix breeds together doesn't mean that you get rid of the medical issues a breed can have. Actually now the breed can have a combination of both breeds issues or if they have the same issue it can be a lot worse. This is so sad.

shes actually a great breeder ive been to her house and i saw everything...plus i asked my vet and she mixed breed are alot healthier than pure breds alot of the time. Plus in reality there is not such thing as a pure bred it took several years of "mixed" breeding to get a poodle or a yorkie. I believe she would be trying to accomplish that.

First off the number one rule of reputable breeders is to better the breed when they are breeding mixes that is not happening so therefore they are not reputable breeders. Second your vet is VERY wrong and mixed breeds being healthier then pure breeds. Lots of pure breed dogs are being bred by horrible bad breeders therefor they are sick or have issues and sense there are more horrible breeders then reputable ones it make it look like the breed is sickly when that is not the case at all. Again I have to ask why are you here is it simply to belittle all of us and our opinions and our pure dogs?

Unfortunately, this person is NOT a good breeder. Her dogs are cute because they resemble one or the other of the purebreed dogs that she's mixing.

My bigger concern is that I'm certain that she has not TESTED her sires/dams for all the genetic problems that pop up in any of the purebreds she used as her foundation pairs. If you believe in this person so dearly, you should be able to ask her for the actual testing done on her breeding stock - and on any litter she's selling.

So many of these smaller purebreds have problems that run in their breeding lines. Unless she acutally KNOWS the complete history of the lines she has mixed, then she knows nothing.

BTW: In NJ, you can find lovely yorkies for the price she's asking for a mutt. This person is charging enough that she should be testing her litters for all the problems that may arise in smaller pure breeds.

Yeah, if you look at her pups for sale, some of them look like yorkies, others maltese, llahsa or chihuahua. They all look different with different fur texture - so there's no "new breed", only a bunch of untested mutts.

AND she uses small breeds that could each have their own health/genetic issues.

It's very unfortunate that the person is able to so blatantly mislead the public about what she's selling. Perhaps it's more unfortunate that some of the public can be so easily mislead....

I wouldn't even consider this person, based on this quote from her web site alone!! Good God, wake up!! If you are so into mixed pups, ( I have nothing against them) go to a shelter, there are many mixed pups looking for a loving home....and for a fraction of the cost to boot! Sheesh!

The internet is so full of scams like that. Did you see the Dateline show on the guy who says he sells "new breed" hypoallergenic cats and even some dogs for $7,000.00+ and they showed he gets the cats from a U.K. breeder of house cats in the area near London and that they are not hypoallergenic at all? Just regular cats. The show had special tests done on the cats and compared to shelter cats, there was no difference in their hair or dander or anything! Dateline caught him redhanded when they bought one of his supposedly special cats and it tested out to cause allergy the same as any cat. He said he was going to give them reams of evidence - sent them a 5 page report that a specialist said proved nothing - was just a bunch of double-speak! And all the happy customers he was going to provide to support his claims, he sent only 5 names I think and they couldn't even reach some but the rest were happy with their cat. But dozens of the other sneezing people who fell for his scam are suing him. Total scams all over the internet selling pets.

These new breed dogs are just mixed breed dogs just like the ones waiting for killing in city and town shelters all over the country because no one wants them. Rescues all over have dogs just like them all the time. But people go online and fall for the breeder's sale pitch because of a lot of hype and higher prices than the shelters charge.

Maybe anyone wanting one of these new breed dogs can use a hypoallergenic cat from London? BTW, the Dateline show tracked the address of the online Allerca seller to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Online sellers are not always what they say they are.
