| Bad Breath! Any tips on how to cure bad breath? any ideas as to why my 6month old pups breath has been so horrible in the last 2 weeks? Could teething have anything to do with it? |

| Has she lost all her baby teeth yet? Sometimes food gets trapped in them and can cause horrible smelling breath.

| I use plaque blasters, its worked wonders on clearing the plaque and bad breath. Works for my lab too!

| A lot of times Yorkies do not loose all of their baby teeth and need to be removed by a vet. When this happens, food gets stuck and causes bad breath. It happened with Izzy. We had her spayed and while she was under, the vet pulled 6 retained puppy teeth. After that, her breath was not nearly as bad and now we brush every night with CET toothpaste.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | KS gets 1 blue buffalo dental blue bone in mini size every night and her breath is fabulous. We love these things and so does she! Everyone always comments on how pleasant her breath is. We brush once per week too. BLue Buffalo Bones all natural dental chews

| I will look into the Blue Buffalo dental bones!! Are they imported? Organic? I know Blue Buffalo is a "commericial" brand and many of those do have extra chemicals and ingrediant added to them. Kinsley's stomach does not tolerate those very well. Kinsley lost a tooth last night and I have noticed a change in her breath so that may have been the problem! I brush her teeth everynight, or at least every other night (still getting into a routine) with chicken flavoured toothpaste from the vet, she loves the taste! |
