Hi, and congratulations! Your baby is such a cute little guy, and I love the name you chose, Odin...Yorkies ARE gods, you know...and they have no concept of size. Besides, who says all gods have be to be huge?

My two have definite ideas how things are to be, and they will voice an opinion. They are very smart, loving, and devoted, and LOVE to go everywhere we go. They are constant companions, and so sweet, and we just love them so much. I think you will find that to be true as well, and even if you cannot show Odin, I expect he will want to attend the shows with you.

Hes soooo cute and looks ALL yorkie to me. This statement could not be truer!!! LOL Best of luck with Odin! You'll be hooked on small dogs before long! You'll be coming here asking where you can get a 2nd one! hahaha

And someone else mentioned...Yorkies are big dogs trapped in small bodies.

Yeah, he sure looks like a Yorkie. Very handsome! Yorkies are very feisty little dogs. They do have a stubborn temperament but are very loyal and loving little dogs. As you have already found out they also think they can talk!These dogs were originally bred for killing rodents in small areas so they have to be quite strong willed and fearless creatures. You will find that most training methods used for other breeds of dogs do not work well with a terrier. Be patient and remember you are dealing with a different species here.

Since he does not have registration papers you can't enter him into a conformation type of dog show but if you are interested in obedience training he could probably be entered into obedience shows. They can be a lot of fun and once you learn how to train a terrier they do great in obedience trials.
