| I am so mad the stupid nextdoor neighbor's white mean dog attacked Jasmin about 20 minute ago when I took her out for a potty break. I guess they let their dog outside to run away the neighborhood. Jasmin and I were doing our regular potty break unaware that the dog was roaming around and we also have over 1.5 feet of snow. Out of nowhere, it came and attacked Jasmin. It was showing teeth and jump on Jasmin. I had to kicked off the white dog to pick Jasmin up. Now Jasmin is scared to go potty. I was scared and nervous at the time, I wasn't sure if the white dog was going to attack me. I am still nervous now. I am happy Jasmin wasn't hurt. Stupid people need to keep their unfriendly dogs locked up in the yard. This is the dog that barks all day and night that I was telling you guys about a couple of months ago. |

| Do you have dog catchers in the area? I would call them and get to the bottom of this dog being loose and not friendly. No dog should be loose unless in a fenced in area. I know here not many tie up their dogs and it drives me mad. We don't know if they are friendly or not and I'm not about to put it to the test. Specially when some of them are huge Rotti's. I hope your little one is ok. Very scary. |

| You definitely need to report this to the proper authorities. Do you have a leash law in your area? I'm so sorry this happened to you and Jasmin. I can only imagine how shook up both of you are right now. I learned this tip from Jeanie and I do it in my backyard now for hawks and owls, but she carries an umbrella with her when walking the dog. It might not stop a dog, but popping it open at the dog will probably give you a split second of "stunned" to reach down and grab your baby.

| I would report it to animal control or even the police if animal control won't do anything.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | It's gotten to the point I am afraid to take mine out unless there in a stroller or I have someone else with me. There is no way I can get 3 all gathered up if a big dog approached us. I am glad Jasmin is ok.

| Sorry that this has happened, i had the same issues with Yoshi, my peke, just saddened that others don't take care of their dogs. I almost lost my baby b/c of a neighbors negligence.

YT 2000 Club Member | I would be mad too. I am so thankful you or Jasmine were not hurt. If little Jasmine is too scared to go out you might look into getting the potty patch. I just read about it and it usually works for little dogs. She would not have to go outside. It only cost 29.95 and is returnable I believe if she does not use it. Everyone who goes out side with Yorkies or dogs should have something to spray at an animal that attacks. Too many dogs run loose and you need to protect yourself. Prayers of thanks for you not getting hurt. |

| If a dog became aggressive on MY property and I knew who the owner was, I wouldn't hesitate to call the police. Animal control in my area sucks, and they will only come if a dog actually bites someone or is injured. The very first day I took Sam outside, I had to snatch him up by his harness because a 60-70 lb dog running loose charged at us. It scared me at first, but then I got mad. I shouldn't have to worry in my own damn yard when my dog is on a leash!
