If a dog became aggressive on MY property and I knew who the owner was, I wouldn't hesitate to call the police. Animal control in my area sucks, and they will only come if a dog actually bites someone or is injured.
The very first day I took Sam outside, I had to snatch him up by his harness because a 60-70 lb dog running loose charged at us. It scared me at first, but then I got mad. I shouldn't have to worry in my own damn yard when my dog is on a leash!
