| I'm glad you've taken this dog in, but I take offense to this! Gwenni is absolutely terrified of having her nails clipped. Terrified! Starting from about 6 mos old for some reason. Never had any trouble before that. We've tried everything. Even had 3 people trying to restrain her at the vets office and that's not safe either. The only time they've been cut down was when she was out for a dental cleaning. I'm not putting my dog at risk to get her nails trimmed. If that makes me a bad owner so be it! You can't judge ownership qualities based on long nails alone.

| Hows the lil girl doing? How is she getting along with the other fur family? Pnut hates his paws touched- I cant even attempt to trim his nails- knowing that he goes to the vet or groomer for a trim. Not a big deal- I don't know why so many people have their panties in a twist lately-

But since you asked... I for one would hate if Gwenni got loose and was found, that someone would deem her a stray/abandoned just because her nails were long... just trying to put it out there that you can't judge how long a dog has been out by factors like that.

| I really don't think that getting all hyped up about this dog and being aggressive toward the OP is going to help the animal one bit. If people are getting offended by this thread why on earth do you keep coming back? I'm Irish and have never taken insult concerning a remark about an Irish temper, especially if it is from another Irish person. If I were going to take offense it would be on St Patrick's Day when all the people who say they are Irish are getting falling down drunk! The dog is going to the vet on Monday. Is it Saturday night at the fights here? If my little girl were lost I would want her to be with someone who cared enough to her to the vet and find out if she was chipped. Apparently the owner of this one did not put a tag on her or she would be home by now. My girl is never outside alone but she has an ID tag and a chip in case of emergency. By the looks of the belly of this dog she has not had puppies. Did she look bruised on the nipple? I thought I saw discoloration there. |

![]() Just trying to lighten the mood and keep everyone on track here guys. The important thing is that this little girl gets home to her family and that the OP is doing everything possible to see to it that that happens.

In all seriousness IF the op felt he did everything he could to find her owners and wanted to give up trying and keep her - that would be his choice- we cant tar and feather someone for that. We are not in his shoes- you personally might do it different, let the OP handle this how he wants-

| I do not "have my panties in a wad" as you put it. But I am just putting myself in the position of the person who lost this little one. It seems some think that the OP must be right and she is neglected but we have seen pups here on YT get lost and be found weeks later and the owners were not at fault it was hotel staff. My heart breaks for the families of these little ones who go missing and I was not trying to be mean to the OP just trying to let him see how it would be for the actual family of this little girl. Just because someone doesn't happen to agree with an OP does not mean we are being cruel or trying to chase them away. Maybe some of you have never had a dog escape but I have and it is a heartbreaking experience. I love my babies and do everything in my power to protect them. They are never taken out unless we are with them but even with a fully fenced yard Laddy got out with my DH not 3 feet from him. He disappeared before my DH could get to the gate and after him. Both myself and DH literally cried the entire 3 hours he was missing and walked for miles. I hope the OP stays on YT and even if he finds this little girls family will be fortunate enough to someday get a little yorkie of his own to love. To me that would be the best situation.

| She is just adorable!! You would think if she had owners really missing her, you would have came across the postings looking for her. But perhaps she is a long way from home? Either way, it sounds like she is in great hands and I'm sure whatever is best for her will be done. Yorkies have a way of wrapping you around their little paws. My grandpa hated dogs. Until he met Destiny and she won him over and he know calls her over to lay on his lap. Truly a miracle if you knew how he was with dogs. There is a pretty big misconception out there that yorkies are stupid little yappy annoying dogs. Maybe there are some that way but my yorkies and all the ones I have met do not fit that stereotype at all. Glad you've had your eyes opened!!

You keep coming out with these comments that are offending people I guess in an effort to defend the OP. You know everyone on here is adults and able to defend themselves and when they say something offensive people have a right to speak up and hold them accountable for it. I have stayed out of this thread except for reading but I just couldnt not say anything here because I see where the problem is on this thread
