Foods are everyones own preferences....just dont traumatize/stress your new baby by immediately changing what ever food the breeder has started the baby on.

I will take that into account, thanks so much I will ask the breeder what she is feeding and I'll try to switch progressively and once she is comfy in her new home. thanks for the good advice

I didn't even think to tell you don't mess with the food when puppy was new to your home. I had Ruby for a year before I switched. Ruby still has the itchies but seems to eat better on her new food.Another suggestion I have is to please read up on hypoglycemia so that you know the signs and what to do if it happens. Always have a tube of Nutrical on hand. With vaccinations, my vet recommends that I only give one vaccination at a time since yorkies are such tiny dogs.

I don't know anything about hypoglycemia and yorkies but I will do my research like a good girl. I hope Lily doesnt turn out to be a picky eater. It worries me hehe ... I might keep her with the same diet for a long time as you did. It'll all depend on the kind of food the breeder is using too... I'll keep you posted . thanks!
