| ![]() Mine all hate it too, so do I. We had one chirp in the hallway & it wouldn't stop even after we changed the battery, so we disconnected it. There's another on the stair case, so we don't need both in such close proximity. Of course, it happens in the middle of the night when everyone is sleeping. ![]() We live in a condo & the other night @ 2:30am, the whole building fire alarm went off. It was a false alarm, but it was shrieking very loudly for a good 10 mins. My dad had to tape up the part that the sound comes out from to reduce the noise. Poor monkeys were shaking so much, I had a good vibrating massage from them loll. My ears were ringing...how bad it must've been for them. ![]()

![]() Glad that my guys are just like the rest of the yorksters and not particulary gutless! Maybe there's something to the theory that the alarms may just be at the right frequency (and volume) to drive a dog crazy. It is not surprising that an alarm would really upset them because they are so darn loud.. But the intermittent beeping driving them crazy was not expected. Ms Daisy is also a huge shaky girl when the beeping starts. I tried and hold her close to give her the thunder jacket treatment, and I could not believe how much she vibrated. ![]() | |
