YT 2000 Club Member | Name that breed?? On Saturday when we went to pick up my oldest daughter at a friends house, she brings out this teeny tiny puppy, says her friend doesn't want it anymore that they are taking it to the pound. :/ oh and the friend locked the door after my daughter brought the pup out. So we have a new dog. She is suppose to be a cockerpoo, however already having a full bred toy poodle and a yorkiepoo, I see no poodle in her at all. Her hair is super short, more like a terrier breed. The owner of the parents actually live right up the road from us and on doing a drive by we have seen I do believe the dad and he is indeed a cocker or a cocker mix. This pup is very small, was given to the friend not long after its eyes were open so Im thinking at or around 4 weeks. The friend had her about a month so she is around 8 weeks, give or take. She eats ok and a constant pee and pooper. She is in a diaper most of the time. Im on the hunt for someone who makes washable diapers that I can get in the super small size. Anyways I know its hard to tell but what do you all think she might be mixed with? I did look up cocker/poodle pups and didnt find a single pup close to her in looks. I looked up yorkie/cocker and seen very similar looks. Also we need a name..:/ so some help with that too please! 4 dogs, Lexee, Tucker, Abby, Toby 4 cats, Zoey, Sasha, Taz, Jack 1 rabbit. Isabella 1 hamster Patches.. Yes I have an petting zoo..:/ Thanks!

YT 2000 Club Member | I think she has cocker spaniel in her. We have a cocker and she looks very similar. Her ears are not as long but she is probably a mix. Super cute!

| She has the cocker features for sure but her coat seems more coarse and wirey like a shorter haired dog of some kind. Maybe Lab?

| She definitely looks cocker to me. Golden in color, so Brandy or Amber or Marigold?

| If the dad is a mix then she is 100% adorable cocker mutt. The mix could be a combo of several breeds. I think pooh bear or honey bear is a cute name |

YT 2000 Club Member | thanks everyone for the help.... I do no the dad or mom (wasnt sure) is def. a cocker or a cocker mix. My girls ride the bus by this house everyday and said that they have seen the other parent and its smaller because the dogs are always in the rode. .. so she will probably stay on the smaller side... Keep the names coming Im making a list! Yes, DBlain I do live in the country. I wasnt wanting to bring another animal in the house, we are full..lol.. however I wouldnt turn her away, she obviously wasnt wanted where she was so she is better off with a family who loves her.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | That is so sad that the pup was unwanted. I am glad she found an angel. She is such a cutie. She looks like a Honey or Marigold. Maybe she will get bigger now that she is getting the correct care she needs. She looks cocker and a little lab

YT 2000 Club Member | update..sort of I did alittle searching on FB cause I know of the family. She is definitly Cocker and a little bit of a mix. Below are pictures that I found of the dad, mom, and her with a much larger litter mate. Thanks again for the help.. we have decided to call her Mylee.. Im assuming the red cocker in the chair is the mom.

| My grandma had a cockapoo when I was a little girl. I see the cocker but not the poodle in appearance but since you say she is tiny she could be poodle in stature

| What a sweet little angel. Mylee is a perfect name for her! What kind of jack azz had this poor baby that they would just up and decide after a few weeks that they no longer want her? I know there are so so many with this mindset, but I get so mad I feel physically sick when I see it happen.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Bless you for taking her in. The parents look like they may have some cavalier king charles spaniel in them from the ruby color of one parent.

| Aww, she is adorable!! You're her guardian angel for taking her in!! The parents look like a cocker and a yorkiepoo to me. So she could very well be a cockapoo but the poodle part may be generations back so the poodle traits won't be dominant so you might not see signs of them.
