| I will get up to 25 or so sometimes and then every few days go in and cull them mostly out to 3 or 4, ready for fresh ones. Sometimes I unsub. when I shouldn't as I may never see someone's reply to a post I made! Then later I try to find that thread again and search and search. I hate that. Usually, though, I try to keep current subs to about a dozen working but when it seems to slow down or takes an uninteresting turn, I unsub.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I choose not to get email reminders, but I thought you are automatically subscribed to any thread you post on. I'm subscribed to 8,945, threads plus this one now, and yes I do unsubscribe to certain threads. A subscribed thread, will just show up on your list of threads, IF someone new has posted on it. Go to "user CP" and it will show you a list of threads, you posted on that have new posts after yours. It's actually very handy, and you learn if someone is asking you a question or doesn't understand your post.

| Is there someone who can explain how to put subscribed threads into folders or how to unsubscribe from a thread? Right now I see I am subscribed to 540 threads. YIKES!! I would like to clean up my act but don't know how. Thanks!!!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I don't think it's necessary to "unsubscribe" to threads, you will only be notified of those threads, IF someone posts a new post on them. To unsubscribe to a thread, go to "USER CP" on the left side of the page in the blue band area, next to "blogs" "FAQ" etc. It will list your subscribed threads that have new posts. All you have to do is choose the word "unsubscribe" and click on it and you will be unsubscribed to that thread. Because I was "subscribed" to this thread, I saw your question.

there are several already created and you can change their names or add new ones once you have the folders made/named go back to your subscribed list and on the right side there are small boxes put a check mark next to the ones you want moved to a particular folder, at the bottom where it says "move to folder click GO it will take you to the next page where you choose the folder you want them to go in to and then click move items!

| When I first joined, I tried to keep the subscribed threads under 100. Now it is out of control and try to keep them under 500. Does that make me a thread hoarder?

| Well, I tried "tidying up" my subscriptions. What a pain! I had to keep reading them to see why it was I had them...did I "choose" to subscribe cos it was info I wanted to refer back to, or was I "automatically" subscribed just cos I wrote on it. Patience not being one of my virtues (whom I kidding...not sure I have any... ), I just deleted everything! Whew...fresh start
