I choose not to get email reminders, but I thought you are automatically subscribed to any thread you post on. I'm subscribed to 8,945, threads plus this one now, and yes I do unsubscribe to certain threads. A subscribed thread, will just show up on your list of threads, IF someone new has posted on it. Go to "user CP" and it will show you a list of threads, you posted on that have new posts after yours. It's actually very handy, and you learn if someone is asking you a question or doesn't understand your post.
