I can feel your excitement through my computer screen! I remember all to well, wanting to go and get my little, Teeka. I must have made 50 calls to the breeder before and after she joined out family! I will be anxiously waiting for the "first pics"! Congratulations!

That's another thing... I am still not solid on certain things I am or not going to do. Before I was like from day 1 he is sleeping with me! Now I am not so sure if that is the best thing. We didn't let Joey sleep with us until he was a little older maybe 6 months, they are so tiny at first, and yes they could easily fall off the bed, they don't seem to have much fear when they are young. We kept him in a soft-sided carrier next to the pet, and I could take him out to pee a couple of times during the night. After he could hold it all night, he was allowed in the bed and I kept a pee pad on a chest at the foot of the bed, just in case. He never had an accident in the bed. For the first few months, you’ll have to wake up several times during the night, so get your rest now!

My goal is to keep him quiet, but to not have him crying in the first place. Either my bed or the carrier. Maybe the carrier since he will be ised to traveling in it.

Joey was pretty good in the carrier, he'd cry when he had to pee, and I'd set him on the pee pad and he'd run off it a few times and finally pee. Sometimes on the floor, sometimes on the pad. I'd put him back in his carrier and it had a zipper so I could stick my hand in it and he'd go back to sleep. I had a little bunny with a string that played a lulaby from him, he's my baby!
