We didn't let Joey sleep with us until he was a little older maybe 6 months, they are so tiny at first, and yes they could easily fall off the bed, they don't seem to have much fear when they are young. We kept him in a soft-sided carrier next to the pet, and I could take him out to pee a couple of times during the night. After he could hold it all night, he was allowed in the bed and I kept a pee pad on a chest at the foot of the bed, just in case. He never had an accident in the bed. For the first few months, you’ll have to wake up several times during the night, so get your rest now!
