| ![]() This is horrifying! Poor little guy, I hope he is able to experience the goods things in life, I'd hate to see him be euthanized. The rescue group appears to be legit, really dedicated to rescuing animals from some truly vile conditions. Here's a newspaper article about them. Group seeks help after taking in 80 dogs | Van Buren County Democrat |

| ![]() I contacted the shelter. They do seem legit. It's a really horrifying photo they posted of the poor pup ![]() "Thank you for your concern. When we got Patrick he had big open sores across hid body and most of his fur missing. We are trying to get donations toward his blood work testing which is about $300. He wouldn't eat when he first came to us but my fiance April, is really great with special needs animals. He's eating now but he's still not 100% yet. His blood work is to make sure his internal organs are working as they should, like his liver and kidneys. He shows classic signs of a dog from a mill. It is a shame that people think it's ok for them to treat animals this way. We would love to answer anymore questions you might have. Please feel free to call us anytime. 8705041122 8705041108 Thanks, April & Stephen" I'm assuming that since they don't even have bloodwork on him yet, they don't really know what's going on inside his little body. I wonder if there's enough love in the world to save this poor baby. So cruel. ![]()

| ![]() So sad! I read this right after I sat here worrying that I may be spoiling Baxter too much. Am I giving him too much attention? Why do I have such a hard time leaving him & him me? Then I read that, & realized how fortunate we are to have each other, unconditionally! Poor puppy ![]()
