| Weight? Okay - you experts - tell me what you think. My not-so-little guy weighs 4 lbs at 15 weeks. I know no one can know for sure, but what are your educated guesses as to what his adult weight might be. I was told that he will probably weigh between 5 and 10 pounds - which makes me think that one of his parents was probably not real small. I wasn't looking for a tiny little Yorkie - because at my house his best friend will be (and already is) a 21-pound Bichon. However, after seeing them together, I have learned (since he is only 4 pounds now) that a 4 or 5 pound Yorkie can certainly hold his own with a larger dog. When they quit playing, both dogs are both exhausted. Thanks for any "guesses." Carol Jean |

| Double his weight at 12 weeks and you get the answer. He might be a big yorkie, under 8 pounds. but probably above 6 pounds.

| Lilfoot did you get a silky terrier in the mix of that breed to make it 10 pounds.

| It really is hard to tell. Kelsey is a yorkie-poo and weighed 3lbs at 3 months and now she's about 9lbs maybe a little more, I haven't weighed her in a few months. But even a 10lb dog is still SMALL...don't be discouraged!

| I'm not discouraged at all -- I have said all along that I don't want a "tiny" Yorkie - but I'd also rather not have an 18-pound one either. We'll just have to wait and see what Muffin weighs when he grows up. He is cute as a button - so, I know no matter what - he will turn out cute!!! Carol Jean |
