| It sure is. And getting a puppie at 16 months old makes it more difficult if you don't know the whole story of her previous life. |

| In answer to ilove joel, I was meaning never allow someone to tease your dog by fake slap (patting) etc. Your dog should already know ALL people first, then him. He should be taught from puppyhood, that he moves out of the way, when we are walking (No stepping over or going around dogs please). You say move if he is in your chair before sitting down, he moves. No growing when you turn over in bed and bump him. No going out the door before you and so on. Be the PLP from day one. (Parent/ Provider, Leader, Protector) If your dog looks to you for leadership and cues it is easy to correct unwanted behavior.
