| Meet My New Baby!!! Meet My New Baby!!! Hi All, I'm Jan and I brought Lexi home the day after my birthday, December 28th, 2012 and this site has been, by far, the most helpful when I have questions or concerns. Lexi is actually a Chorkie so I'm not sure if we can be a part of this wonderful community. Please let me know if there's another site that's more appropriate for us. I've only had her for a little over a month, but she has become the apple of my eye! The Wee Wee Pads worked like a charm. As soon as I put them down, and helped her a bit with the spray, she instinctively gravitated toward them to do her business. Even when I'm at work an leave her in her playpen, she only goes on the wee wee pads. I'm sure the treats help. I think she's training me because she uses those wee wee pads so much. I've had to change her treats to little pieces of carrots because that many treats just can't be healthy. She loves the carrots even more than the treats! Here's a video of her after she learned her first 2 tricks at 10 weeks. . I didn't think I would be posting it so it's kind of rough around the edges. She's 13 weeks now. As soon as I figure out how to add a picture I'll post a picture of my littel sweetie! btw - I love looking at the pictures of all the beautiful babies. |

| Thanks everyone! She's curled up on the ottoman snuggling my legs. She thinks she's such a big girl lately. She only likes to cuddle when she's sleepy. Otherwise, she's rough housing round and round with her toys. She has a box full of toys, but of course her favorite is an empty bottle. I'd better hurry and get her comb and brush while she's sleep. It's the only time I can get near her with a brush. She'll need to be groomed in a couple of months and she needs lots of practice for that. My little sweet potato turns into a menace at the site of a brush. |
