Yes, she's a Chihuahua Yorkie mix. I had to stop with the tricks for a while because I was so concerned about her getting so many treats. She uses her wee wee pads so much and I know it's just so she can get treat. I don't want to stop the treats after she goes potty because she is doing so well and I don't want to throw her off. But, since I discovered the carrots, I think we can start learning new tricks. I don't think she can get too many veggies! She knows about 6 tricks now and I'm anxious to start back again.

I attached a picture of Lexi getting a little drink before going on a shopping spree to get more clothes. That's my robe on the floor. The tile is so cold and she doesn't like to sit down in the kitchen and get her buns cold. So, she's using my 2 fuzzy and soft robes to keep her warm on the kitchen floor. I'll have to buy her some nice soft blankies for the floor so I can have my robes back. She's nice and toasty, but I'm cooooold without my fuzzy robes!

I find the best time for brushing is sleepy time as well - lol! She will get better about it

The BEST toy in our house is an empty popcorn or juice bottle with bells in it - of course, there is NO conversation to be had when that toy is out, but Maya chases it for miles around our living room - hee hee.

What a great idea! I can't wait to get home and snatch some bells off of a Christmas ornament and drop in her bottle. The bottle AND bells...
She's going to lose her mind!

Congratulations on your new tiny family member. Lexie is cute as can be and so smart. Your going to have many years of happiness with that little cutie pie, and I can see she has a devoted mom who will spoil her to bits. Hope to see many pictures as she grows up right here on YT.

Ah ha ha ha!! What a cute and tiny girl! The dollar store (at least in Brandon, MB) has cute doggy print fleece blankets for $2.00 - we love them.

We have had an exceptionally cold winter and got Maya during the worst of it. She was a birthday surprise for me on the eve of the apocalypse (the ending of the Mayan calendar) - that is where I got her name

She had to go out to pee in the snow at -35 so she doesn't seem to mind the cold now. She begs to go out and frolic in the snow, burying her nose down 3-4 inches like a mini snow beast!

Some days she sits on on the deck in -20 and just watches the deer in our yard for a while...
