| Ahi has the double pony tail thing going. I put the first ponytail on the top of her head then pull the pony tail back towards her neck and grab more hair into a second pony tail. Does that make sense? I will post a pic after she gets up from her nap.

| If I put Ziva and Abby's scrunchies in from the front they fall forward but if I put them in working behind them it curls back and stays out of their face. We are just in the growing and learning stage- I have spent more money on different bands and scrunchies than I ever did on my daughters hair! |

| These grooming bands available at Amazon . com and Ebay are about the best I have found. They are not as harsh on the hair as the regular rubber ones are. They are very inexpensive and you can snip them right out without doing more damage to the hair. If I want her to wear a bow I just put it on over the first band or if I use an alligator clip it goes on very easily. Amazon.com: latex free grooming bands They work very well for the double pony tail and for when I braid the back section of her hair. I do use the soft scrunchie bands at night time. |

| I've done that too! Cut it a bit also. I think I prefer the double ponytail. Please put a pic on here so we can see your technique. I'll get mine on here too!! Thanks for posting this question (who posted it????) it was a good one.

| Your not supposed to pull the bands out. They sell special scissors to snip them out of the hair. toplinepet.com You just slip that curved part of the scissor under the band and snip. They are not regular rubber. They are latex free and don't get caught in the fine hair like rubber would. Most groomers use them and they are much like what is used on the metal braces some kids wear. They sell them in bags of 500 for next to nothing so they last at least a year or more. |

| That's what I do to Mimi's top knot too. Her head hair grows so much faster than her body hair...I sometimes braid it, or split 2nd band hair & put 2 more bands w/more hair from the sides of her head, this way is more secure & I don't need to change it out for a couple of days. Will need to give her a bath & take pics, it's hard to describe!
