| I have the problem of strangers in the street thinking its ok to yell or shout rat at my dog. Mainly men trying be macho I think, but its so annoying when your just trying to go for a walk! Don't know why they thinking big or clever to yell at a small dog and a pup at that. |

| Where is this happening at? You need to keep her away from those people also if people are calling her to them to yell at her she will learn not come when called.

| Don't invite them over anymore or keep her in a different room.

| Oh my gosh, are these friends of yours? How awful. They should get even more than just a tongue lashing...

I have to do that when the grandkids come to visit, and the adults give me a hard time about it. I stick it out though, bc the kids are too young yet and the adults just don't get it. But I am not going to risk having a child accidentally kick or fall down on top of one of my dogs, or harrass them. the little boy came to the door the other day and stood there barking at one of mine, and I asked him not to do that as it was upsetting the dog and she was barking back at him. I tried to explain that it is not nice to do that to any dog, and that a dog may bite him. Well his mom jumped all over me for saying something to him, he was just playing, and went off in a huff. I can't fix stupid (although I do try, lol), but I can protect my dogs.
