| Sickening....We know the truth- that dog went home cute as a button with his little self....a few weeks later he was in a cage, not socialized and obviously abused and neglected....It really p's me off, this article to me gives that pup a bad name, its just not fair. Thanks for sharing, where is Warwick?

| You notice too how they put a bad pic of him... Its so sad that this sweet pup was taken by someone who obviously didnt care and now he has a bad reputation. Its not his fault.

| That article is horrible, poor rocky will never get adopted with the shelter having an additude about him like that. yes you want to be honest with people but even on our harder to adopt dog I don't start off by listing thier negative qualities. This poor guy just need love, patience and probably a bit of training. I hope he gers a better PR person and gets adopted.

| Yea... definitely the original owners fault. Cute dog though, but so difficult to retrain a dog.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | The shelters around me are pretty good. They work with the dogs. They also have some behaviorist that donate their time. I hope that they can help him. It is such a sad and touching story.

| The NYC area is just flooded with puppy mill dogs. Pet stores are all over the place. So many of these puppies end up in shelters. Many people who have never had a dog buy these little dogs because they think they are so cute but never realize the work that goes into properly training a dog.....even a small dog. The cute factor wears thin after a few potty accidents on the floor and the pup gets stuck in a crate for most of it's life. Never trained, never socialized. The kids might get it out to play with it once in a while but when it starts biting out of fear off it goes. They get passed around and finally end up at the shelter. Sadly, it is a very common story. |
