| AKC Names We have decided to name our little guy Pilot, but still have no idea on his registered name. He is limited registration through the AKC (pretty much we don't have breeding rights for those who don't know) but we still want to register him. I just can't figure out what to name him

| LOL! Love those ideas, ladies! When DH decided on getting our German Shorthair Pointer I thought a LOT about his name. I wanted three parts, as is the norm and this is how I came up with it- Our neighbor dog across the street was named Duke. "My dog will be more than a Duke, he'll be a Prince!" I wanted a German name that had "wolf" in it's meaning. Adolf means Noble Wolf. Perfect! Then I couldn't come up with the last part. When DH brought Buddy home he was shy and scared and I tried to coax him out of the truck and kept calling him buddy. DH laughed and said that HE has been calling the pup Buddy all day, too. I said, "Well there you go, that's his name! His name will be Prince Adolf Budweiser and we'll call him Buddy!" And so it is. =)

| Pilot Maverick Goose - little Top Gun theme for you. Mine are officially a prince and princess - Maxwell William and Abigail Catherine (they were born the year the royals go married). Mine had no restrictions, but had them fixed since I had no intention of breeding - registered them anyway. Last edited by AbbyMax; 01-14-2013 at 06:31 PM. |
