| Wow what a flat out lie. Do you have a copy of that post? If you are fostering, you don't rehome them yourself. First thing you do it talk to your own rescue group!

| http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/4065123-post58.html The emergency vet Did a 2nd X-ray and found out that she has a few bone fragments in her intestine...they're hoping to medically treat it right now and pray that it helps. Ultra sound is next.... If it doesn't help they want to do an emergency surgery to fix the intestine if it tore anywhere... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/4065433-post114.html Lilo has stopped breathing... her heart has stopped.... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/4065461-post127.html They've managed to get a heartbeat back.. We're at the vet... We're hoping she'll stabilize again.. She's even worst off than before.. Will update when we can.. Looks like she'll be here for 4 to 5 more days [/IMG]but a least she's still alive... Please keep praying for her.. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/4065476-post135.html We just saw her... She's on a breathing tube now they're back to square one and were tryin to stabilize her.. They asked for another huge deposit since she will be staying for a few days if she survives... She looks so sad... I managed to stop crying when we went to see her but broke down again shortly after... I can't believe she's going through this http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/4065543-post152.html **LILOS FULL UPDATE ** Hi Everyone, Thank you all so much for your ongoing support during this difficult time with us. I just wanted to give you a brief update on Lilo's current medical status so we are all on the same page and can continue praying for her. We were hopeful that she would be improving after calling the vet at 3:00 am to check on her. They originally told us that she was able to sit up on her own and her gums were turning back to pink, but at 8am this morning Lilo's heart stopped and she went into cardiac arrest. We completely lost her pulse and heart beat for a few minutes and i begged them to keep trying... they managed to bring her back and she is still in critical condition at the hospital. She is now breathing through a tube which they hope to be able to take out in a few hours... They believe the cause of the sudden change was water developing around her heart due to a protein shortage. She is estimated to now stay another 3 to 4 days. That is all we know right now and we will be going back to visit her later this afternoon. We told her when we saw her how loved she is and ho many people are rooting for her as we speak. Her ears perked up at this, so we know out little angel is still there. We have put another $900 on our credit card towards her vet bill and have managed to raise over $1000. We thank you all so much again. We can never say thank you enough for all you've done with your support & prayers. Please help us continue to pray and share her story... She only has one wish this year and that is to stay here with us all.... -Cess, tam, & Lilo Kahlua we've lost her... im going to say goodbye to her now at the vet. she went into cardiac arrest again and they revived her again... they said its best if we put her down.... please let everyone know for me.. i am so heartbroken.

| I guess it was Lilo that got to be on television for a short time to compete with other dogs for some prize and fame and fortune. She posted the clip or a link to it. She is definitely not blind or close to it. The owner has no obvious disability. If her current dog has qualified as a "service dog" it may be so she can take her to nursing homes, etc. I don't know if she actually does that. A service dog is far different than a seeing eye dog and the owner can do the training. They just have to have the dog pass a test given by the service dog association. When I looked at her facebook page the other day I just saw various things she sells related to the dog, but I didn't go back very far. |

| I remember watching a TV show with Lilo in it doing tricks vs. other dogs on Animal Planet, back before I got Tibbe in 2008. I think Lilo pushed a small shopping cart, too, but can't recall what else she did. Can't recall the name of the show but I used to watch it on Saturday nights I think. That was a fun show.

Lili was on a show that had a dog that rode a skateboard. Lilo also rode a skateboard, played patty cake, closed the door of a wardrobe, pushed a shopping cart, etc., but I saw that much more recently than 2008 because I had Brody and he wasn't born until 2010...I got him in May 2011 when he was 14 months old. Lilo's owner posted about Lilo being accepted into the contest and onto the show prior to the show airing. I wasn't a YT member in 2008, either. Did she have a Lilo before Max, Joe bear, and Lilo Kahlua? Just curious...

| This is the thread where she tells us about Lilo on the show. Def not in 2008. Cess didn't become a member till 2010. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...ua-sat-tv.html 11/18/10 got Max http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-no-teeth.html No mention of what happened to Max. 7/29/11 Got Joe Joe http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...oejoebear.html 8/22/11 Less than one month later, Joe Joe passes away. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/mem...-14-weeks.html 9/13/11 Less than one month later got Lilo http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...iend-lilo.html 5/4/12 Leo passed http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/mem...you-today.html No prior mention of when or how she got Leo. 11/28/12 Lilo passes away http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...ml#post4065543 There's one more dog that I can't find, but Cess states herself that "Max was rehomed.... 3 lost to congenital/hereditary battles... And then theres Lilo" http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/4066472-post309.html There it is. All facts, all posted by Cess herself.

I guess we all should do a bit more research of the posts that some people make. You would think that one death as a result of the poor breeding practices of tiny breeders would be enough to turn a person from such an awful business. Many people that suffer through having a tiny with health problems have long, involved and expensive illnesses to deal with. Strange that her's just seem to drop dead so quickly. | |
