| They deleted me from their group and their "leader" was sending me unwelcomed messages to the point I had to block her.

| Who is their leader? Was she on YT before and got mad and left or what? How is it they are calling their FB page "Yorkietalk" when it's not the official page?

| Someone named Laurie. The one who is doing the deleting. As I said, I've been removed after I told her I didn't have time to listen to her s**t and blocked her. I was about to remove myself.... I hate that group, it's nothing like this forum that encourages dialogue and welcomes truths.

| I had forgotten about this girl and her tiny. I just looked up her YouTube channel and noticed that she has not posted a video in 5 months so I was wondering about the poor baby's health. I checked her facebook page and it is still going. She is selling calenders. As I recall Lilo died rather suddenly. Within a day or two of some traumatic onset. Can't remember what the cause of death was. Also remember that she and one of her dogs was invited to be on some television program where talented dogs competed for prizes. I think that must have been Lilo. I am all for training small dogs but Lilo was only about 2lbs and I really think she was putting her through too much. Didn't know she was banned here. Was that about the fundraising? |

| She was not banned. She decided to leave bc the truth started to come out. She also left the meetup.com group that I was also in, but there are some pictures up still. She never said what the real cause of Lilo's death was. She said they thought a blockage/ate a bone or something like that. She didn't get a necropsy so we don't know for sure. To be fair, I could not have the vet do a necropsy on Scrappy either. I did not want him all taken apart to pieces like that. Just didn't feel right. Plus that adds to the overall bill.

| Wow I did not realize that Joe Joe passes away at only 14 weeks old. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/mem...-14-weeks.html Obviously not from a reputable breeder if they don't even stand behind their puppies for that short a period.

| Don't EVEN get me started on her again. She was actually collecting money for Lilo AFTER she died. Just disgusting. I said something to a friend of hers and she finally stopped...but it took days. I just don't understand how people follow these self proclaimed wonders...there is another one right now who calls herself a "celebrity designer" and she is nothing but a scammer. SO obvious to many, but not so much to her followers. But, you know Jim Jones got all those people to drink that koolaid. What can I say?

| This is the way I look at it. No proof or evidence you give to her "fans" or "followers" will change their mind about her. It's just human nature. Most people don't want to admit they are wrong about something or someone they support so passionately. Instead they will twist the facts or make excuses for them to fit their truth. Just look at Ferguson. How many millions of people made up their minds about the situation before even knowing all the facts. And then after the facts started coming out, people on both sides of the issue refused to change their minds and instead made the facts "fit" their side or position. I like to think I am open to looking at facts before making decisions and can look at evidence and be open to changing my mind based on that, but we all do it sometimes. |

No offense, Minnie Misa is too small to be a guide dog. Bigger breeds are used because some of their duties includes helping with mobility, even disobeying handler when there is danger by physically blocking or maneuvering their handler away like say from a speeding cyclist on a sidewalk. Question to people in rescue because I really do not know... are there many full time unemployed college student that foster pups? Isn't there out of pocket costs?

Yes there are out of pocket costs for fostering. I pay for all food, toys, clothes, grooming, leashes, gas for driving them to the vet, pretty much everything BUT vetting. We don't get paid back for any of it. We do it as volunteers. Quote:
Trash cans are easy to get to for dogs. It's in their line of sight and I'm sure hard to pass up. I should know, Toto has raided the trash several times. Last time I was lucky he only ate stale bread on the top layer and got so excited he didn't realize the chicken skin and chicken bones one layer underneath. Would a puncture in the intestine or stomach cause a dog's heart to stop? I'm asking for real, I don't know. Did she ever say they got an x ray to prove it was a bone or obstruction? Did she ever say why they thought it was a bone?
