Hello ladies, I have 2 questions...#1 fabio started coughing today..Has anyone experienced this? #2 why is he peeing on his bed any advise? thank you ...

Is this new behavior? Make sure he pees right before bed and you may need to get up in the middle of the night and take him out or to his litter box until he knows he can get up himself in the night to use it. I would also put him on his litter box the second you wake up. Watch to make sure he isnt drinking a bunch of water immediately before bed. If he is peeing more than usual, have the vet check him for a urinary tract infection. I'm sure there are more experienced people than me out there, but that is what I have to offer. Hope it helps.

Thank u, but no it is not new behavior he actually does very well at night but every time I change the bed because he peed on it as soon as I put it down the first thing he does is pee on it.... Should I stop putting a bed in his pen? It seems harsh to me I don't want him sleeping on cold tile but I don't know what to do....

Hi everyone! I also am a new owner of two yorkie babies. Brutus and Gracie came into my life about two months ago and my life has been enriched greatly! I am a little(no, a lot) afraid because they are scheduled for neuter/spaying soon and they are so tiny. Brutus weighs only 2lbs.and Gracie is 2.5lbs.. Should I have this done on such tiny babies? At what age are they "as big as they'll get"? Any thoughts or help would be appreciated!

Hi Fabio and mperran! Welcome to you both!!! I'm almost in the same boat (so to speak). I pick up our Princess Sophie on Feb 8th and have been cruising this forum for a little while trying to pick up all the info I can to make her homecoming as good as possible!

Cruise the different threads and you will learn where is the best place to put your questions and get answers the quickest. There are threads for training issues, health and diet issues, and tons more. Additionally there are a lot of people on YT that are eager to help so don't be shy.

My suggestion is that every time you get into a new section, look at the first few threads and there will be a thread with instructions for that particular thread. Unfortunately I didn't do this at first and some of my comments didn't make it in. LOL If you follow the instructions, you will be fine!!
