You hit the nail on the head! Its time yogether, with a common challenge. It makes me smil when I drive past a really tough one we found. When my Hubby and I go we have a great time too. We pack lunch and pack food for the dogs and eat on the road. We always plan to stop for others as we travel too.

My dad got my family into doing this. We have many good memories. We lost him in October suddenly. This last summer we took my grand daughter and his great grand daughter . I have many great pictures and she ask all the time can we go Geocaching She just turned 4. Great family activity

So I take Titus for the long cache days cause he is younger and can handle the long hikes, But Max can only hadle short hikes. So I decided to go find a cache this evening that was close to my home. Max was walking up the trail at the only pace Max knows

When we get to where the cache should be all I find hiding in an abandoned chimmny from ages ago, was a airsoft pellet gun...did not find the cache and will have to go back. Took the pellet gun to the Police station and they got to oh and ah over the little guy.

Aw, I'm glad you had fun despite the dnf. I've had maybe three of them myself and it never ruins the outing, just means I have another excuse to get out of the house for a bit another day! I have found some steaaange stuff geocaching...swag or not.

We geocache too. Pistol loves to go. I have a sling carrier we take in case he gets tired or the terrain gest to rough. (RUFF ) lol.

Max loves going but can't keep up with Titus and I have not found a carrier I like yet...How much does Pistol weigh.
