| Car seat question Hello all, I was checking online for a car seat and found this. Snoozer Black Pet Car Seat Console Lookouts at PETCO This fits in between the driver and passenger seats. But is it really comfortable for pets? I agree that they will be more closer to me while driving, but I am not able to decide if I have to take traditional car seat or this one. If you guys have tried this, please suggest.

| I have another concern. These are online only. I checked in couple of stores but they did not carry. So, even if I get it shipped, and if I dont like it or if it does not fit, then returning it would be a problem.

| I have never tried this one... I have one that hangs/straps to the seat and I also have a bigger "booster" car seat that two or even 3 of mine can ride comfortably in. My oldest, Bevo, is a Mommas boy and hates to ride in the carseats out of touching distance. I have thought about getting the console version myself. Sometimes, just to get him to stop whimpering, I will attach a strap securely around my console and hook it to his harness so he is right next to me.... I guess it's just depends on if your baby will be ok in the seat with a regular car seat or if you are willing to give up your console!

| My mom bought one at a store and returned it. It was comfortable, but too small for her dog. But my concern is air bags in case of an accident. Do you have a small car or is this for an SUV?

I have to drive 300 kms to pick him and 300 kms on way back. Reaching breeders place would not be any problem for me but while returning I think he might get stressed since he will be leaving his mom and litter mates. So, I just thought this might solve the problem..

| I have a 2012 Mustang and looking at the dimensions of the lookout (which I observed now), I think the smallest might not fit in.

| I think the smaller one might fit in your Mustang, but it is for smaller dogs... I haven't had any problems with the car seat we use in the back seat. I'm sure your pup will be fine in a seat in the back and probably much safer.

| Yep. I agree that he would be safe in the back. But I am just worried how will I manage the 4 hr drive considering that it will be the first time he is coming out of his comfort zone..

| We have the snoozer & it rides in the back seat. It depends on your preference & how big your Yorkie will get. Or you could always use it until your puppy outgrows it & resell it here via YT. There is always someone looking for a cars eat.

| If you have a mustang, you might want to go with a seat for the back to be safe. I have a SUV so my console is pretty large. Congrats on the new baby by the way! Hopefully your breeder will send along a blanket with Mommas smell to make him a little less homesick on your travel home!

| The console one can work but you need to measure well to make sure it will fit on your particular console. Also check the measurements for inside the seat to make sure your dog will fit well. The dog should be able to sit or lay down in it. They do come in a few different sizes and colors. Ebay has a lot of them for varying price tags. |

| Don't they have dimensions?? Moki ended up like his. Belive it makes his feel secure and safe??So pretty much any seat will work???Also if there are any accidents it won't get in your car..http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f9...mike86/133.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f9...mike86/134.jpg |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I ordered the large one from petsmart. I thought it would be great when I have my DBF in the car with me and stuff in the back seat. I have a Sebring. It was too big for the car. It did not fit between the seat and it was too long. I could not move the stick.
