| I also suggest you start with the back seat! My younger 3 love to go and are perfectly happy riding in the back in their seats... It was the mistake I made with Bevo of spoiling him to be right with me that I regret! He is like a toddler whimpering so sadly if I "ban" him to the back. Just breaks your heart! Lol

| I got this one. Snoozer Black Pet Car Seat Lookouts - Dog Car Seat from petco.com they are having 20% off and free shipping so now is a good time to buy. You can return it to a store. Maggie is 10 pounds and she rides in the front or the back. Many cars now have sensors in the front seats so the airbag is "off" if someone too small sits there. Mine is OFF when Maggie is up there. I agree, start the pup in the back so he is not spoiled to being in the front, in case you ever travel with a friend or spouse. I like the bigger one because you can put it near the window and they can see out. Maggie wouldn't like being in the center and I would feel cramped with a seat there. Since she is a little bigger she is able to stand in it and put her feet on the door and stick her head out. She draws lots of attention because people don't expect to see that little head sticking out like a big dog. |

| I have the small console snoozer seat. Lexi is about 5 pounds. She fits just fine in it with room to move around. It is nice and cozy for her and she loves rides up front close to us. One thing I would add is to measure carefully. I have an SUV and don't think the larger would fit without being really snug and getting in the way of the driver. Also,I find the straps to secure it awkward. The strap to fit under the console doesn't work for our SUV at all because of the way the console opens. The brackets are in the wrong place. But the back ones are teathered in securely. I don't think the airbag is a factor because we don't have an airbag in the middle of the front seat. i also have a back seat car seat too. Hope this helps. |

I drive an 03 mustang. The console is SO close to the dash that I am afraid that Mina would still get hurt in an accident. She rides in the backseat in a small snoozer carseat. The airbags would hit a dog, full force,in that small space. | |

| Thanks for all your suggestion guys. I think, I will get a car seat which can be put in front and back seat (if any). I will be going tomorrow for the hunt. ![]() I was just checking my Mustang after seeing installation video of console car seat and I felt that it might not fit in there.

| Snoozer has several different sizes of car seats that sit on the seat. They are nice but you do have to be concerned about the airbag if your dog rides up front. Check into how you can turn off the airbag when your dog's car seat is in the front seat. Measure your seats to make sure of what size will fit in your car. |
