				 | Leg Cramps? This happened to Joel twice where he just randomly put his back leg up like he got a leg cramp. He leaves it up and won't walk on it for a few seconds, and then walks away like nothing happened. Both times it was his back left leg. Can they get leg cramps? Has anyones yorkie done this? |

				 | Georgie would do this when he was having issues with his luxating patella. Has the Vet checked Joel for that?

				 | I definitely would ask. My nieces Yorkie had LP in both back legs and would switch off walking on them. She had surgery on both and he walks fine now. It never seemed to bother him, he would just walk funny. Georgie would yelp like he was in pain so he had the surgery right away.

				 | I would not have thought of LP with that. Now I know what to look for. Let us know what the vet says, Rachael.

				 | I only knew because I checked here. Yes, please keep us posted on what the Vet says. If it is LP it could be low grade and surgery isn't necessary right now. Again, Georgie had surgery right away because he appeared to be in pain. My nieces Yorkie Oliver wasn't bothered by it at all.

				 | I was going to say something when you posted this pic... his (LR)leg is 'out'. Looks like a crutiate ligament issue to me... JMHO http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...?ads=1&postid=

				 | sounds like LP or another issues that you need to have check out with your vet. I'm sure it hurts poor little guy.

				 | Thanks for the replies I checked his back leg from that pic and that spot is just his hair sticking out, but I'm going to mention it to his vets. He'll be going for whatever 1 year old shot he needs too. |
