I only knew because I checked here. Yes, please keep us posted on what the Vet says. If it is LP it could be low grade and surgery isn't necessary right now. Again, Georgie had surgery right away because he appeared to be in pain. My nieces Yorkie Oliver wasn't bothered by it at all.
