| A reputable breeder does not usually readily have something available for a new home. Be wary of Kijiji ads, they can tell you anything but whether or not the claims hold water can be a different matter. Also written guarantees are helpful but the big question is will it be honoured? If not you will have to end up suing and that costs money right from the start. Another issue, if you are looking for a cheap pup and you already have a yorkie, can you afford another one? Vet bills are a very small drop in the bucket compared to purchase price. I am in Abbotsford, BC and the price for Yorkie pups here from reputable breeders is going to be about $1500. |

There are lot of Yorkie pups available on kijiji. And I have posted my experience with one ad where the the seller was a "Registered Breeder" helping an elderly lady to rehome her pup and she did not know what is MVD. Also, there are no pups in BC from any reputable breeders. I checked almost everyone, and most are planning for breeding next year. I am in touch with Donna (from Donda Biewers | Enumclaw, WA 98022) and luckily she might have one male Biewer left. Praying that everything goes well.

| I am not familiar with your area or Canada in general but I usually suggest that people get in contact with the dog clubs that are associated with (AKC in this country) I think it is CKC in your country. Those conformation clubs usually have a breeder referral contact person that can help prospective buyers find reputable breeders in the area. I hope this puppy works out for you but if not then you could ask the owner of Donda Biewers about upcoming litters. I'm sure they must have membership in at least one dog club so maybe they could give you info on how and who to contact in your area in order to find other reputable breeders. That way you would still be headed in the right direction. Hope you find the Yorkie of your dreams soon but don't be afraid to wait for the perfect one if you have to. |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I didn't see where you are located. I will be having two litters of pure Biewer to Biewer litters next month--and then no more for awhile. Please take a look at my website and send me an email or application and I will do my best to help you. I am also a friend of Carolyn's. |

♥Love My 3 Furrbutts♥ Donating Member | Looks to me like you have decided on a Biewer...I have 2 traditional yorkies and a Biewer....it took me a year to finally decide on a breeder. The two yorkies I have are not a good representation of the breed, although I love them dearly. They were purchased from a byb...for me I will/have wait to find a good breeder. Jersey (my Biewer) is stunning! She was well worth my time and effort to find her. I hope all works out for you with this breeder, I know nothing about her so cannot add any advice. Please let us know how it goes, and good luck.
