| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I agree with everyone - a cough is nothing to fool around with and GOOD luck - I hope your baby is going to be ok - you're doing the right thing going to the vet as soon as possible |

| Congratulations on your newest family member. Your baby is a family member and she is gonna have the same types of illnesses as kids go thru. NOT the SAME illnesses but comparative to human ones. The best defense against these buggers is a good offense and that means taking her to the vet when you feel she needs it. You will learn very quickly what she needs but in the meantime, a vet check is in order. Don't want your new baby getting really sick...Best of luck on your new venture.. |

| It will make you feel better to take her in and be sure nothing serious is wrong. Dogs are just like human children and you should always go to the vet when unsure.....good luck and let us know.

| Whenever I have gotten a new pet, I ALWAYS take it to the vet. Even if it seems perfectly healthy. How can you not? And if you think it is too expensive to go to the vet, then you have no business getting a dog! Sorry for venting, but that make me mad! |

| Well i took my doggy to the vet today and he said everything is normal. He gave me clava, and said to give him .5, 2 times a day. He said that the dog has a minimal over bite, that he wouldnt recommend me breeding it, if it was for show purposes. The dog weights 2.5 pounds at 4 months 3 weeks. i asked him if he thought i over payed for the doggie and he said it all depends on how much you love him. He said theres not really a range, different breeders want different amounts, and hes in no position to make a call. I think i did over pay for this dog.It will mature to be about 3.5-3.75 pounds, only one ear goes up at 4 months, he has an underbite, and hes ACA registered. I still love her! (Shes beeen having a REAL bad day, she fell off the stairs, 3 steps(carpeted), She fell off the couch, i stepped on her toes. Shes just so tiny! |

| Good to hear your baby is doing good. Always nice to hear a good outcome on little ones that don't feel well...

| Glad to hear that she is fine. I would watch out about her jumping off of things. That can cause internal problems and she could break a leg being that tiny. Oh, and her overbite wouldn't be the biggest factor against breeding her. That is a very percise estimate your vet gave. She seems WAY too small to even consider breeding. My Brandy was $500 and AKC, but she's priceless to me! So just keep thinking that way. My girl was born Aug 18th, and is about 3 1/2 lbs now. . Good luck with your little one and congrats again! |

| Well she still has the cough. He said we had to wait 7-10 days to tell what it is, if it doesnt go away with the clava. He said he hears a lil bit of gurgling in the lungs but that could just be from water she drank incorrectly or from her being sick. I asked him if it was her trachea, and he said it wasnt. She was born on aug 30 and weights 2.5. im not sure if its due to her 1/8 of a cup less. |
