| ![]() Many people fly with anxious pets and they use some medication to help them chill, and things go well. Can't think how many times I've flow with a screaming baby on the plane or they guy sitting next to me snoring so loud you could not hear the announcements. Not the mention the toddler who kicked the back of my seat from New York to Germany ![]() Get your pup some meds from a vet and let them sleep,on the way home.

| ![]() Definitely call and complain. Someone at the desk or something was wielding a little power and that is absurd. Heck, I'd even go so far as considering calling one of the news investigation teams and seeing if they think you have a story. They usually can get good results in these situations. The threat of bad publicity often makes big companies fix things. I'm sure if a lot of animal parents got wind of this, there would be a LOT of bad pub for SW. I've never flown with my boy yet (I've only had him a couple months now) but I know it will be in our future. He gets carsick after short car rides, so I am sure we have some pre-planning to do before any flights. My vet recommended dramamine for him for long car rides, but we haven't had to try it just yet, as I avoid the car with him when at all possible (He pukes nearly every time and just gets so sad) Good luck and update us!! It's absolutely INSANE to me that they would do that to you. He couldn't have been THAT bad, and if it was during landing, so WHAT? you're all about to exit anyway. I can't believe some people. ... |

| ![]() Amazing! What won't they think of next? I am sorry, Jakson, that you and Mommy are in this situation, and I am really sorry you were frightened or in pain during your flight. But, seriously, I would ask my Mommy to complain to everyone at Southwest who answer the phone or has voice mail. Surely this is a mistake that can be corrected. Yorkiemom1 has given some great ideas...travel well and/or in cognito Jakson or Fred or 007 or... ![]()

| ![]() Blacklisted by Soutwest?! It seems some people in the air travel industry are getting way too much power. I hope you can convince them that this is totally unfair. Maybe you could get some Rescue Remedy for pets. It is very calming and all natural. Pets usually sleep or are just pretty chilled out when they take it. |

| ![]() I have been flying with a dog in cabin for the last 12 years on many different airlines, however Southwest was never one of them. My Cavalier in the beginnig would bark the whole time we took off and I was never even asked if I could quiet him. I now fly with Bella and she is a not a good flyer at all and she will whine and scratch at her bag wanting to get out. Other than asking me to put her bag on my knee and try to console her I have never been red flagged. I have never heard of such a thing. I would as others have suggested call headquarters and report this issue. This sounds like your stewardess was having a bad day. I don't think they can stop you from flying again for a few whines from a scared dog. Sounds like she is on a power trip. Too bad you didn't get her name. I'll be anxious to see what headquarters tell you. Keep us posted. |
